Unas buenas botas de senderismo serán un gran aliado, preferiblemente que sean impermeables o, al menos resistentes al agua, ya que es habitual que tengamos que cruzar un arroyillo o pisar algunos charcos y unos calcetines mojados pueden hacernos mucho daño en los pies y chafarnos una jornada que se preveía agradable y emocionante. Los calcetines específicos se llaman calcetas y yo las recomiendo con una gran proporción de algodón, todas están diseñadas para evitar lesiones en los pies como ampollas o rozaduras.

Si no vamos a andar mucho ni por un terreno muy complicado, podemos cambiar las botas por zapatillas, que tengan una suela que agarre bien y que no nos importe manchar. Y los calcetines que nos vayan mejor con estas.
CAMISETAS Y PRENDAS DE ABRIGO
En verano yo prefiero camisetas sin mangas o de tirantes y una manga larga blanca encima para reducir la exposición al sol y proteger de los bichos. En invierno camisetas de cuello vuelto, con mucho algodón. Las térmicas son muy calentitas pero poco transpirables y demasiado acrílicas, por lo que no me gustan mucho pero son, por supuesto, una opción totalmente válida.
Una prenda impermeable, ya sea un impermeable o un cortavientos en verano/zonas cálidas. Yo tengo una chaqueta de neopreno que me encanta, la que llevo en esta foto. Es ideal para el frío moderado y es impermeable. En invierno, para días de ruta con temperaturas cercanas o inferiores a los 0 grados centígrados, un buen anorak cómodo y amplio es imprescindible.
Las sudaderas, forros polares y jerseys serán un gran aliado.
